Thelma W. Warlick, 93, of Elkhart, died Friday, November 7, 2014 at Hubbard Hill.
Thelma was born on December 6, 1920 to Ralph H. and Emma May (Kuhn) Walters in Miami County, Indiana. In 1941, she married Robert Philabaum, who was killed in action in 1945 serving his country. On November 4, 1947, she married Rollo W. Warlick. He preceded her in death on November 15, 1997.
Thelma is survived by daughters, Sandra Priem (Larry), Florissant, MO, and Elaine Warlick, Elkhart; three grandchildren, Stephen Priem (Stephanie), Bristol, Kyle Priem (Cheryl), Goshen, Alex Priem (Donna), Balwin, MO, and five great-grandchildren.
Thelma was an Electronic Technician at CG Conn during the 1940's and later worked as a Ward Secretary at Elkhart General Hospital for 15 years until retiring in 1984. She was a member of First Brethern Church, the Married Women's Club, and a past member of the Hospital Auxially. She was a former member of the CC Serenaders Bowling League. Thelma enjoyed music, reading, sewing, and gardening.
Friends may call from 10 am until the time of service at 11 am, Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home with Reverend Fred Staten officiating. Burial to follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery.
