Thomas P. Hagerty, 87, of Carlton, GA and formerly of Elkhart, died Saturday, April 30, 2016 at St. Mary's Hospice in Watkinsville, GA. Thomas was born on September 9, 1928 in Chicago to Andrew and Verna (Pepke) Hagerty. On March 8, 1952 he married Teresa Maure. She preceded him in death on December 5, 1987. Thomas is survived by a daughter Patricia Reynolds, Carlton, GA; Dave Reynolds, IN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, including Dr. Michael Russell (Carrie), GA, and Ms. Kathryn Spice, GA. He was preceded in death by a brother, James Hagerty. Thomas proudly served in the US Army during World War II and the Korean Conflict. Following his military service, Thomas was employed for 30 years with Workinger Electric. Thomas was a bowling enthusiast and enjoyed working outside in the yard. Services were private with entombment at Rice Cemetery.
