Toni D. Bristol, 52, of Elkhart, died Wednesday morning, February 24, 2016 at her home, surrounded by her family. Toni was born on June 28, 1963 in Oceanside, CA to Anthony D. and Betty J. (Whybrew) Balyeat. On February 21, 1997 she married Michael P. Bristol in Las Vegas, NV. He survives. Toni is also survived by her parents, Anthony Balyeat, Naples, FL, Betty (Gene) Landis, Elkhat; son, Zachary Bristol, CO; sisters, Cathy Smith, Three Rivers, MI, and Dawn Cantwell, Elkhart; brothers, Marty Smith, Elkhart, IN and Christopher Balyeat, OH; nieces, Mandy Christophel, Three Rivers, MI, and Ashley Boedeker, St. Louis, MO, and nephew, Adam Cantwell, Elkhart. Toni was a graduate of Concord High School and was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. She was also employed as a sales representative for HIMCO. Friends may call from 11 am until the time of the Celebration of Life at 1 pm, Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home. Johnny Bachman, a friend of the family and Father Zak Berry from St. Vincent DePaul will officiate. In lieu of flowers, Toni's family suggests charitable gifts be made to the Community Foundation of Elkhart County for the Toni Denise Bristol Inflammatory Breast Cancer Foundation.
