Angela Rose Dandino, 91, of Elkhart, passed away on Monday, September 29, 2025, at Elkhart General Hospital.
Angie was born on March 18, 1934, in Ridgway, PA to the late Edward O. and Theresa R. (Elia) Papa. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Giovanna “Joni” Hoffman.
On September 4, 1954, she married Michael J. Dandino, Sr. in Elkhart. Mike died July 18, 2011. Surviving are two sons: Michael (Debbie) Dandino, Jr. and Patrick (Donna) Dandino; two daughters: Kathi Torres and Julie (John) Slater; nine grandchildren: Alex, Garrett, Deric, Pauli, Angela, Kate, Charley, Carmella and Elli; and one brother, Vincent (Sharon) Papa of Elkhart.
Angie and Mike were the original owners of Dandino’s Supper Club in Goshen and D’Antini Fine Dining in Elkhart, retiring in 2003. She was a 1952 graduate of Elkhart High School and a member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church.
Visitation for Angie will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman where the Holy Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church. Angie will be laid to rest next to Michael at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
