Ann Cleveland Mann, 79, of Elkhart, passed away Feb 26, 2020 at Elkhart General Hospital.
Ann was born in Elkhart on December 31, 1940 to Dr. Kenneth and Evelyn (Carter) Cleveland. She married her junior high and high school sweetheart, Garon (Gary) Mann on Sept 8, 1962. Surviving family besides her husband are a daughter, Mrs. Amy (Frankie) Coomer of Austin, Indiana; a son Mr. Greg (Sally) Mann of Zionsville, Indiana; five amazing grandchildren Kristen (Eddie) Cozart, Allyssa (Fred) Elam, Allyson Coomer, Jake Mann and Luke Mann; and one great grandchild Sophia Cozart (with two more on the way!).
She greatly enjoyed her involvement keeping up with the EHS class of 1959, taking trips with her husband – especially tracing family history, and frequently visiting her kids and grandkids to support them in all their endeavors. She was beloved by many and was very passionate about her love for her family.
Mrs. Mann was deeply involved in and held numerous positions with: the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), Colonial Dames, United States Daughters of 1812, Elkhart County Genealogy Society, and LaSalle Rosseau Chapter of The Questers.
She was a dental hygienist and receptionist in Elkhart for over 20 years (Drs Bechtel and Roberts), retiring from the field in 2002. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Indiana University Bloomington in 1963.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 29 from 2-6 p.m. at Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home for a celebration of life. A private family memorial will be held at Plum Grove Cemetery, Union, Michigan.
