Anna Y. Miller

Anna Y. Miller, 92, of Elkhart passed away peacefully Tuesday morning August 17, 2021 at the Courtyard in Goshen, Indiana. Anna was born on March 22, 1929 in Arthur, Illinois; the daughter of the late Yost and Tillie (Miller) Schrock.

On January 21, 1950 Anna married the late Wilmer R. Miller. She is survived by her sons Doug (Linda) Miller; Jeff (Terri) Miller; five loving grandchildren, Tiffany (Matthew) Bowman; Celeste (Brian) Westfield; Alicia Miller; Jordan Miller (Alexis Haubenstricker) and Jeffery Miller, Jr. Anna also enjoyed six great-grandchildren.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five sisters and two brothers. She is survived by two brothers, Levi (Norma) Schrock and Yost (Ella) Schrock, Jr.

Anna served others working for over 20 years providing personalized cleaning services to several individuals. She took great pride in her love of baking including many family favorites which were loved by family and friends. Anna was a proud lady and spent time completing impeccable embroidery and knitting work and studying the Bible. She loved spending time with family and excelled at the roles of wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her home was always open to family and friends, taking great satisfaction in preparing meals and blessing others.

Per Anna’s request, a private graveside service for family will be held at California Road Missionary Church Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her husband. The service will be officiated by Pastor Timothy Wesco.
