Bessie Irene Warlick

Bessie Irene Warlick (Sargent), 103, died Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at Hubbard Hill Estates in Elkhart.  

Bessie Irene was born to Robert and Reita (Pippenger) Sargent on July 14, 1921.

She married her high school sweetheart Lewis G. Warlick.  They were married for over 60 years. Lewis died December 22, 1997.

She is survived by a son Lloyd (Donna) Warlick, Land O Lakes Florida, seven grandchildren: Matthew, Aaron, Jared Warlick; Ron and Rod Warlick; Mark Warlick (Shari) and Sarah Pease (Clifton); and several nieces and nephews from both the Warlick and Sargent side of family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sons John (Janet) Warlick and Lewis Warlick, her brothers Lloyd, Floyd, and Frank Sargent, and her sisters Marie Echart, Mae Powers and Harriet Prybo and grandson Bradley Warlick. 

Bessie Irene spent many happy days with her family at their home at Simonton Lake, Elkhart. Later their winters were in Ruskin, Florida.

A private service will take place at a later date. Hartzler-Gutterman-Inman Funeral Home is assisting the family.
