Brent Robin Fletcher

Brent Robin Fletcher was born on May 17, 1980, in Elkhart and passed away of natural causes at the age of 43 on June 26, 2023 in Edwardsburg, Michigan. He is survived by his parents: Gordon and Charlotte Fletcher of Edwardsburg, his brother Jason (Nicole) Fletcher of Bristol and his sister Laura Fletcher of Edwardsburg. Brent is also survived by a niece, Mallory Fletcher and a nephew, Jordan Fletcher.

He attended Baldwin Prairie Elementary School, White Pigeon High School and graduated from Constantine High School on June 7, 1998. Brent worked for a year and then attended Davenport College in Kalamazoo, Michigan from 1999-2000.

Brent lived the last 15 years at North Lake Apartments in Elkhart. He worked at K-Mart from March 2006 until they closed in December 2016. He then worked at Perkins Restaurant from 2017-2023, doing many jobs.

Brent lived his childhood on the shores of Baldwin Lake in Union, Michigan. When he was young, he was good at sports, loved to swim and did flips on the family trampoline. He was active in the National Alliance for Mental Illness of Elkhart County for 10 years. Brent was dearly loved by his family and friends. He enjoyed video games and movies. He was known for his love of animals and kindness to people and he loved to laugh.

A visitation for Brent will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023, from 3PM to 5PM at Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home in Elkhart.  A memorial service will follow at 5PM at the funeral home. A private family burial will take place at Rice Cemetery in Elkhart.
