Carole Jeanne (Hosler) Cudahy

Carole Jeanne Cudahy, 84, of South Bend, died Friday, April 9, 2021 at her residence.

Carole was born November 28, 1936 in Elkhart to the late Lester and Mary (Goudy) Hosler.  She was also preceded in death by one sister, Patricia Kauffman and two brothers, Richard and Robert Hosler.

On May 9, 1964, Carole married Patrick J. Cudahy in South Bend.  Pat died July 22, 2015 after 51 years of marriage.  Carole is survived by a brother, Tom (Patricia) Hosler of Bristol, fourteen nieces and nephews and nineteen great nieces and great nephews.

Carole graduated from Elkhart High School in 1954.  She worked for five years at Elkhart Brass in the accounting division.  She then took a position in the accounting department of the Indiana Toll Road where she retired in 1999 after thirty-six years of employment.  She also attended St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church in South Bend as well as St. Mary’s of the Annunciation Catholic Church in Bristol.

Visitation for Carole will be held on Thursday, April 15 from 10 am until the hour of the service at 11 am at St. Mary’s of the Annunciation Catholic Church in Bristol.  The Rev. Robert Van Kempen will officiate and burial will be in St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Cemetery.  Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
