Dean Allen Redden (68) was welcomed home to rejoice in Heaven on September 12, 2023. Dean was born on December 4, 1954 to William Everitt Redden and Mary Marguerite (Harrison) Redden.
Dean enjoyed a quiet life with simple pleasures, especially classic westerns, Little Debbie snacks, dining out, and shopping. As a bocce ball extraordinaire, he was presented numerous awards for bocce ball in the Special Olympics at the local and State levels. Dean had an appreciation for music; he loved the Beatles and bluegrass style. With his father’s teaching, he learned to play the mandolin, which was something they often did together. Time spent with family created many memories for Dean and those who were fortunate enough to share his company. He enjoyed traveling to Florida with his parents. They made this journey together over many seasons.
Dean is preceded in death, and graciously welcomed home by his parents, and brother, Glenn Redden.
Dean is survived by cousin, Dennis (Mary) Redden of LaGrange; sister-in-law, Jane Reda; cousins, Meredith (Justin) Norris of Albany, and Maryl Redden of Wolcottville; as well as Dean’s extended ADEC family, Erwin, Fred, Chuck, Aaron, Donnie, Cindy, Susie, Jeff, Traci, Maria, and Enid.
Deans soft smile and delightfully quirky sense of humor will be missed by those whose lives he touched.
A committal service for Dean will be held Monday, September 18, 2023 at Rice Cemetery in the Peace Mausoleum Chapel at 11am.
Memorial donations may be made to ADEC, 1671 W Vistula Street, Bristol, Indiana 46507.
