Deborah L. Pedler

Deborah L. Pedler, 68, of Elkhart, IN passed away February 6, 2026 at her home surrounded by loved ones.

She was born on August 23, 1957 in Elkhart to the late Robert Johnson and Sandra Bowen.

Deb is survived by her son, Richard “Rick” (Michelle) Esterline; 4 grandchildren, Justin (Paige) Esterline, Aaron (Tia) Esterline, Tommy Sanders, and David Sanders; 2 great-grandchildren, Ezra Esterline and McKenna Esterline; 2 brothers, Rodney Dellinger and Greg (Audra) Dellinger; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one son, Bobby Esterline, as well as 2 sisters, Carmella “Tina” Ellsworth and Dee Bowen.

Deb worked as a group leader at Native Hardware for many years. She was Cheyenne and Apache and took pride in her culture. She had a loving heart and was known by many in her neighborhood as the neighborhood mom. She loved bowling, camping and campfires, and being outdoors, and liked to watch cartoons and monster trucks. Above all, she loved spending time with her family.

Deb was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A celebration of life for Deborah will be held at a later date. Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
