Donna Ann (Peterson) Flora

Donna Ann Flora, 98, of Elkhart, died on, Friday, November 3, 2023 at her home. She was born on December 23, 1924, in South Bend, Indiana to David Peterson and Fannie Steketee.

Donna is preceded in by her father, David Peterson, her mom and dad Fannie and Leo T. Adams, her to late husbands, Darvin Robinson and Charles Flora. Donna is also preceded by her children, Dennis Robinson, Diane Holdread, Doris Jean Robinson and a stepdaughter Margaret Torok. As well as a granddaughter, Beverly Torok.

Donna is survived by her siblings, Gary Peterson, Marlene Hart and Norma Binkowski. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Angi, Casey, Dale, Sandy, Alisha, Rich and Allen. As well as fifteen great grandchildren, nine great-great grandchildren and several loving nieces and nephews.

Donna attended Elkhart High School and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Elkhart for many years. She loved to attend Bible study as well as make quilted blankets, hats, gloves and other items through the church. Donna enjoyed quilting and sewing she also liked to tend to her garden growing fruits and vegetables that she would later preserve and can. She absolutely loved being a mother and grandmother to her family. Donna loved the Lord and her family; she was always kind spirted and enjoyed being around her family.

A visitation for Donna will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023 from 10 AM to 12 PM at the Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home in Elkhart followed by a funeral service at

12 PM. Donna will be laid to rest at Zion Cemetery in Bristol following the funeral service. Reverend Ted Stanley from Trinity Lutheran Church will be officiating.
