Frank Panka, 81, of Savannah Lakes Village, McCormick, South Carolina passed away Friday morning, July 13, 2018 at his home.
Frank was born in Chicago on September 10, 1936. He grew up in Chicago and later raised his three children there. Frank was a successful businessman and entrepreneur and was involved in many business ventures. He will be remembered in Elkhart, Indiana for his companies B & P Products, Quality Laminated Products, Kitchen and Bath, and Panel Solutions.
Frank retired in 2002 and relocated with his wife Janice to McCormick, SC where he spent his time golfing, fishing, and traveling around the world.
Frank is survived by his wife of 19 years Janice, his children Toby and Tracey of Indianapolis, and Kelly of Chicago; and two step children Andy Blake of Rochester, New York, and Heidi Knepp of Goshen, Indiana; 6 grandchildren: Lauren, Camden, Makena, Kacyn, Quinn, and Alexandra. A memorial service will be held in Elkhart at a later date, and close friends will be invited for a memorandum toast at his home at a later date.
There will be visitation and remembrance Friday, August 3, 2018 from 3:00 -4:00 PM at Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home 403 West Franklin Street Elkhart, IN.
