Garry D. Howell

Garry D. “Wayne” Howell, 50, of Elkhart, died unexpectedly on Monday, November 20, 2023, at his residence.

Wayne was born on September 13, 1973, in Elkhart, to Garry D. and Elizabeth (Niemeyer) Howell Sr.

Wayne is survived by his daughter, Finnian Howell of Elkhart, his mother, Elizabeth Howell of Elkhart and two brothers: Ryan Hills of Milford, IN and Joe Hills of MI.  He was preceded in death by his father, Garry.

Wayne was employed for many years by American Technology where he worked in shipping and receiving.  He enjoyed video games, martial arts, heavy metal music and was an avid reader of fantasy novels.  Wayne also enjoyed being outside and watching Godzilla movies with his daughter.  Wayne was a friend to many and he will be missed dearly.

There are no services scheduled at this time.  Memorial services will be held at a later date.  Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
