Obituary

Geraldine L. Scott, of Elkhart, our beloved Aunt Geraldine was called home to be with the Lord on April 3, 2023 at 6:40pm in her home at the blessed age of 90.

Geraldine L. Scott was born to Addie and Betty Scott on February 22, 1933 in Elkhart, Indiana. She was the youngest of eight children born to that union.  Geraldine accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of St. James AME Church. 

Geraldine retired from CTS Corporation with over 30 years of service.

Geraldine Scott leaves to cherish her memory a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Addie and Betty Scott; her siblings Elsie Scott, Nadine Lewis, Addie “Preacher” Scott, Jr., Herbert Scott, Marion “Monk” Scott, Ruby Bell, and Edward Scott.

A visitation for Geraldine will be held from 11AM-12PM at Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home on Saturday, April 8, 2023 in Elkhart followed by a graveside service at Rice Cemetery in Elkhart.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. James AME Church, 122 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive, Elkhart, Indiana 46516.
