Jack K. Foltz, 80, of Elkhart, passed away January 15, 2023, after a valiant struggle with a debilitating stroke. Jack was born on June 2, 1942 in Elkhart to the late Delorme and Madalene (Barfell) Foltz.
In 1962, he married Betty Straley at Central Christian Church. She survives with children: Jack (Dorry) Foltz II of Elkhart, Lisa Foltz of Maricopa, Arizona and Troy (Shannon) Foltz also of Maricopa. Also surviving is a granddaughter, Rylee Foltz, brother, James Foltz and sister, Janine (Roy) Simpson of Pharump, Nevada.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Jared Foltz and his canine pal, Founder.
Jack obtained his Tool and Die training from NIBCO. He also worked at Selmer. Together with Ed Fergison, he established F and F Grinding Service in the late 60s. After selling the business, Jack went to work at CTS where he retired. Jack enjoyed Historic Preservation and loved his family, his neighborhood and his home. He especially loved his porch where he spent many hours with Founder.

A Celebration of Life for Jack will be held on February 18, 2023 from 2pm-5pm at Our Place On Main, 126 South Main Street, Elkhart, Indiana 46516.
