Jeanne P. (Hale) Doyle

Jeanne P. Doyle, 101, of Elkhart, IN passed away the early morning of Saturday, April 25, 2026 in her home.

Jeanne was born on July 14, 1924 in Springfield, Ohio to the late Mildred and Herman T. Hale. She graduated from Springfield High School with the class of 1942 and went on to work at Wright-Patterson Airfield during WWII. She graduated from Ohio State University in 1949, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree. She was a member of the Delta Zeta sorority.

On August 5, 1950, she was united in marriage to Leo I. Doyle. They were married for 50 wonderful years before his passing in 2000.

She was also preceded in death by her brother, Richard T. Hale.

She is survived by one son, Tim L. Doyle, 3 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

Jeanne was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A memorial visitation for Jeanne will be held from 12:30-1:30 PM on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home, 403 W Franklin St, Elkhart, IN 46516. Following visitation, she will be laid to rest at Olive Cemetery.
