Jesus Alvarado, Jr.

Jesus Alvarado, Jr., 59, passed away the early morning of Saturday, August 16, 2025 in Elkhart, IN.

Jesus was born on March 9, 1966 in Aibonito, Puerto Rico to Jesus Alvarado Sr. and Gloria Ortiz.

Jesus is survived by his wife, Leticia Alvarado; daughters, Nancy Alvarado, Natalie Alvarado, Jesseca Alvarado, and Nitza Manriquez; 12 siblings; and 4 grandchildren, Luis, Logan, Jaycee, and Layla.

Jesus worked at Goshen Stamping for 36 years. He was a sports enthusiast and especially loved baseball, football, and basketball. He always cheered on the Dallas Cowboys, Chicago Bears, and Chicago Cubs. Jesus also enjoyed going to the casino. Above all, he loved going to church and spending time with his loving family.

Jesus was a wonderful father, husband, grandfather, brother, son, and friend, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Visitation for Jesus will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home, 403 West Franklin Street, Elkhart, IN 46516. A funeral service will follow at 7:00PM. He will be laid to rest on Thursday, August 21 at Prairie Street Cemetery, Elkhart at a private graveside service for family only.
