Juwon Tobias Suggs

Juwon Tobias Suggs was born April 15th of 1981 in Chicago, Illinois. Residing in Granger, IN Juwon peacefully passed away in his home on February 23, 2025. Juwon's parents Trenise Brown (Father) and Barbara Suggs (Mother) preceded him in death. He leaves behind his loving wife of 25 years Lorna Suggs, two brothers Triondus Suggs, Javaris Suggs (Sarah), three daughters Kunosha Hood, Jamirria Hall (Trey), Tian Suggs, and 4 grandchildren (Skyy Hood, Makai Hood, Zuri Hall and expected child of Kunosha Hood).

Juwon served his country in the United States Army, traveling to many parts of the world until he was Honorably Discharged. He began a career at Canadian Pacific Railroad as an Engineer for many years and his most recent roles of Vice President for the SMART Union and a State of Indiana Legislator.

Juwon valued family, friends and colleagues and received a tremendous amount of respect, appreciation, and love in return. For those that had the pleasure to have crossed his path was gifted with a memorable moment that will be cherished always.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Pierre Moran Park, 200 W Lusher Ave, Elkhart, IN 46516.
