Lynn M. Rowe, 83, of Middlebury, formerly of Elkhart, died Thursday morning, December 20, 2018 at Riverside Village in Elkhart.
She was born June 15, 1935 in Flint, MI to the late Versiel and Loretta (Stephenson) Olmstead. Also preceding her in death is a daughter, Jeanette R. Rowe and a brother, Douglas Olmstead.
As Lynn M. Olmstead she married Kenneth H. Rowe in December 1954. Ken died July 12, 2014. Surviving are two daughters: Malinda K. (Trevor) Kallimani of Elkhart; Cynthia M. (Harry) Stanley of Middlebury; a son, Kenneth H. Rowe Jr. of Peru, IN; fourteen grandchildren: Trevor, Mike and Ryan Kallimani, Katie Grubert, Andrew Miller, Stephanie McAllister, Amanda Steven, Amy Hochstetler, Kathy Kinnison, Blake Stanley, Thomas, Elliott, Caleb and Emily Rowe; thirty great grandchildren and two sisters: Arletta (Bob) McDonald of South Bend and Jackie Miller of Goshen.
Lynn retired from Crown International where she was employed as a circuit board assembler. She enjoyed bible studies and she loved the Lord. In her spare time, she would knit and quilt but her greatest joys in life were fishing and playing cards with her grandchildren!
Visitation for Lynn will be held on Thursday, December 27th from 10 a.m. until the hour of her service at 11 a.m. at the Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home. The Rev. Dr. John Blodgett will officiate and burial will be in Prairie Street Cemetery.
