Marlene J. Judd, 92, of Elkhart, passed away at home on Monday, March 30, 2026.
She was born September 20, 1933, in Elkhart, to the late Marvin E. and Gertrude E. (Twiford) Mullett.
As Marlene J. Mullett, she married John W. Judd in Elkhart on June 20, 1952. John died on January 7, 2017. She is survived by three daughters: Betty (Derrel) Neufeld of Council Bluffs, IA, Cynthia Gardner of Plymouth and Pamela (Greg) Timmons of Syracuse; one son, Kevin C. Judd of Tampa, FL, ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Marcia (Leroy) Moon of Elkhart.
Marlene worked in the office of Judd Drugs for many years, retiring in 1995. She was a member of Bethel Missionary Church, taught Sunday school for twenty-five years and was a Girl Scout leader for many years. She was also a wonderful seamstress, often making clothing for her children. Above all else, Marlene was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Visitation for Marlene will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2026, from 5 pm until 7 pm at Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home. There will also be visitation from 10:00 am until the hour of the service at 11:00 am on Friday, April 10th, at Bethel Missionary Church, 63473 CR 7 Goshen. The Rev. Joel Gentz will officiate and burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
