Michael Ronzone Obituary

Michael J. Ronzone, 69, of Elkhart, died on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka.

Mike was born January 5, 1952 in Elkhart to the late Paschal N. “Patsy” and Rose E. (Borrelli) Ronzone.

On June 30, 1973, Mike married Beth Hanna in Elkhart.  She survives along with three daughters; Emily (Phil) Gerber, Laura (Jamie) Tucker and Hannah (Carmel) Salinas all of Elkhart; four grandchildren, Payton Gerber, Patrick Tucker, Ty Gerber and Katie Tucker; a sister, Mary Lu (Sam) Brumbaugh of Wakarusa: two brothers, Joe Ronzone and Thomas (Darlene) Ronzone, both of Elkhart; and a brother-in-law, Bill J. Hanna of Elkhart. 

Mike graduated from Elkhart High School and Southwestern Michigan College with a bachelor’s degree in business.  He was employed as a baker at Ronzone’s bakery and later with Volcano Pizza prior to his retirement.  Michael also attended St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church.  In his free time, Mike enjoyed working in his yard and feeding the birds.

Visitation for Mike will be held on Wednesday, April 14 from 12:30 until the hour of the service at 1:30 at Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home.  The Rev. Craig Borchard will officiate and burial will be in St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Cemetery.
