Nancy Margaret Nichols, 86, of Mishawaka, died Friday, November 21, 2014 at Fountain View Place. Nancy was born on October 8, 1928 in Nicholasville, KY to Joseph W. and Fannie May (Sewell) VanArsdall. Nancy is survived by daughters, Margaret Ayers, South Bend and Elizabeth Brownbridge (Michael), Mishawaka; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 nephews and 1 niece. She was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Nichols; sisters, Matt Osterfield, Hazel Mann, Penny Ternet, Mary Shaver, Aline Young; brothers, John French, Albert Linney, and a nephew, Stephen Ternet. Nancy was a bookkeeper at Azars for 20 years, and later worked at Martins Supermarket in the Deli for four years before retiring in July 1999. She was a member of Ireland Road Church of God for 60 years.
