Pearl M. Suggs

Pearl M. Suggs, 76, of Elkhart, IN passed away the early morning of Monday, July 7, 2025.

Pearl was born on February 22, 1949 in Sikeston, Missouri to the late Willie and Lu Birtha Grant.

She is survived by her son, Anthony (Katie) Suggs, grandchildren Anthony (Cassandra), Deontay, Deanna, DeAnthony, and Khamani, as well as one half-brother and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas “Jim” Suggs, as well as her daughter, Kenyatta Jackson, grandchild Thomas Suggs, and her siblings.

Pearl loved bowling with friends and going to the casino. She enjoyed sitting on her porch, spending time with family, and hanging out with the ladies. She also enjoyed attending Riverview General Baptist Church while she was able. Pearl was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
