Regina R. Allen

Regina R. Allen, 63, of Elkhart, was called to heaven Monday, February 10, 2025 at Elkhart General Hospital, after a long and courageous battle with COPD.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth Allen and Wallace (Valarie) Coleman, Sr., her sisters Brenda Allen and Donzella Swanson; and her brother Brian Bryson.

Regina leaves behind a loving legacy through her only daughter Elissa Allen; her granddaughter Eniyah Allen; and her beloved great-grandson Emari Allen. She is also survived by her siblings: Andrea Allen, Melody Kimbrough, Wanda Words, Vernon Coleman, and Steve Coleman. She will be missed by a host of nieces, nephews, god child, cousins, and friends.

Regina was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family deeply. She was blessed to meet and hold her great-grandson Emari during Christmas – a memory her loved ones will treasure forever. Regina had a heart of gold, always putting family and friends first. She reaffirmed her faith and gave her life to Christ once again on January 29, 2025.

A small viewing for family and friends will be held on Monday, February 24, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home.

Regina’s warmth, love, and unwavering spirit will forever be remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing her.
