Robert C. Foyle, 67, of Elkhart, IN, died Monday, October 28, 2013 in Akron, Ohio. He was born May 22, 1946 in Hawthorne, N.J. to Joseph and Mary (Cunningham) Foyle. He married Jane Julian in 1969. She preceded him in death in 1993. He then married Ellen Fuller in 1996. She preceded him in death in 2009. In 2013 two Grandchildren preceded him in death, Jack and Cate Foyle. Robert earned 4 varsity letters in football while at Hawthorne High School. He was awarded a football scholarship to Duke University where he was a 3 year letterman, Co-captain, MVP, and twice all A.C.C. He retired from Heraeus Kulzer in 2006 as General Manager. From 1999-2002 he was V.P. of Sales for Oralis, Inc. and from 1974-1992 worked in various Management positions for Miles Laboratories. Robert was past President of Dental Manufacturers of America. He served on the Board of Directors of D.M.A and was a member of American Dental Trade Association, Oral Health America and I.A.R.A. He is survived by his sons: Robert Foyle, Jr., (Denise) Columbus, OH and Scott Foyle, (Jaime) Akron, OH; Step Son, Christopher Fuller, Indianapolis, IN; Step Daughters: Amy Fuller, Indianapolis, IN; Jill Arvanitis, (George)Plainfield, IN and 10 beautiful Grandchildren. Calling will be Friday, November 15 from 4 -7 PM at Hartzler Gutermuth Inman Funeral Home. Memorial Mass will be Saturday, November 16, at 11 AM at St Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church.
