Ronald Horn

Ronald Horn, 80, of Clearwater, Florida passed away peacefully on September 26, 2025.

He was born in 1945 in Goshen, Indiana to the late Jean and Delmar Horn.

Ron and Lynn were united in marriage in December 2002, in Clearwater, Florida.

Ron is survived by his wife, Lynn, as well as his children Jeff Horn and Tina Horn; step-children, Danielle (Paul) Huntoon, Adam (Nicole) Zavodny; and four grandsons, Jordon Litowchak, Aiden Zavodny, Hunter Zavodny and Nathan Petry. 

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, as well as two brothers, Mike Horn and Larry Horn.

Ron graduated from Elkhart High School with the class of 1963 and went on to attend Fort Wayne Business School.  He worked for Suntrust Bank for many years in Dunedin, Florida and at Paradyne and Pharmerica before retiring. 

Ron loved riding his Harley, especially up and down the beaches along the Gulf.  He enjoyed woodworking and always going to NASCAR races with his buddies. Time spent with his grandsons was always a special time for him!  Ron loved visiting Elkhart and spending time with his cousins and old friends.

Ron was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and he will be deeply missed by family and friends. 

Ronald has been cremated and will be laid to rest privately at Prairie Street Cemetery, Elkhart, Indiana.
