Terry L. Myers

Terry L. Myers, 78, of Elkhart, Indiana passed away the morning of Wednesday, April 15, 2026 in his home.

He was born on May 24, 1947 in Mishawaka, Indiana to the late Leonald and Jane (Beeson) Myers.

On May 8, 1976, he was united in marriage to Rita (Martin) Myers.

Terry is survived by his loving wife, as well as two sons, Jason Myers and Justin (Melissa) Myers, and four grandchildren, Lenoxx, Roman, Gage, and Talon.

He was preceded in death by his parents as well as one brother, Tim Myers.

Terry worked as a realtor for over ten years before starting his own business, Myers Realty, in Elkhart. His analytical and numbers-focused mind made him exceptional at his job and a bit of a perfectionist. When he wasn’t working, he loved to be outdoors. He had a passion for camping, hiking, and fishing, especially at the Pere Marquette River in Michigan. He loved travelling with his family and spending time at Siesta Key Beach in Sarasota, Florida. He was an avid baseball fan and coached local teams, including his sons. He was also a skilled woodworker and enjoyed working on different projects.

Terry was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Per his family’s request, private services will be held. Terry will be laid to rest at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home is assisting the family.
