Theo Martin Bean

Theo Martin Bean, 30 years old, of Elkhart, IN passed away the afternoon of Wednesday, November 13, 2024. He was born on April 3, 1994 and was a lifelong resident of Elkhart.

Theo graduated from Central High School and went on to work in the Fast Food and RV industry. He attended firefighter training and hoped to become a fireman. Before his passing, Theo was working on starting a trucking business.

When he wasn’t working, Theo was an amazing father to his four children. He loved his family more than anything. He also enjoyed playing Call of Duty and he was a car enthusiast. His favorite subject in school was science and he was interested in biology. Theo had a vibrant, fun personality and lived his life to the fullest.

Theo is survived by his adoptive mother, Betty Bean; his biological mother, Elisa Cuthbertson; his son, Karter Goodwin; daughters Karmyn Goodwin, Aaliyah Fried, and Alanna Bean; brothers Michael (Ranee) Robinson, Darnell Bean, Dimyon Bean, and Travelle Cooper; sisters Michell Robinson, Dayshia (Bennett) Ullery, and Katina Jackson; grandmother Lydia Martin; and aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Ira Mae and John Barnett.

Theo was a wonderful father, son, brother, and friend, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024 from 11:00am to 12:00pm at Hartzler Gutermuth Inman Funeral Home, 403 W Franklin Street, Elkhart, IN 46516. A funeral service will follow at 12pm, officiated by Rev. Jonathan Brown. After services, cremation will take place. Theo will be laid to rest at a later date.
