As well as five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren (with one on the way) and four great-great-grandchildren. Tom is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Ralph Slisz.

Tom worked for many years and retired from the South Bend Post Office working and maintaining the post office machinery. He enjoyed working on computers and even had one of the first home computers you could buy at the time. Tom loved new technology and having the latest advancements in technology in his home.
