Timothy Joseph Dawson, 28, of Elkhart, died at home on Friday, May 9, 2014. Timothy was born on July 6, 1985 to Tim and Julie (Catanzarite) Dawson in South Bend. He is survived by his parents, Tim and Julie, a sister, Jennifer Dawson, Elkhart; Grandparents, Joseph and Phyllis Catanzarite, Mishawaka; Grandmother, Judy Hildebrand, LaBelle, FL; Step-Grandmother, Germaine Dawson, South Bend; several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. He was preceded in death by a Grandfather, Paul Dawson Sr. and Step-grandfather Dallas Hildebrand. Timothy graduated in 2004 from Concord High School where he lettered in football, basketball, and was a member of the Concord Singers. He then played football at St. Joseph's College and attended The Los Angeles Recording School. He loved sports and music. Timothy was an avid Florida Gators and Seattle Seahawks fan. Friends may call from 9:30-10:30 A.M. Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, where Timothy was a member and altar boy, when he was younger. Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11 A.M. Burial will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Timothy Dawson Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home.
