Timothy L Johnson

Timothy L. Johnson, 60, of Elkhart, died at home on Monday, May 13, 2024, after an extended bout with cancer.

He was born on January 14, 1964, in North Chicago, IL to the late Richard L. and Mary Ann (Guzzo) Johnson.  Also preceding him in death were two sisters, Amy Hays and Cynthia Johnson.

Surviving is a sister, Candy (Steve) Daly of Wheaton, IL; three nephews, Chris (Ashley) Daly of Wheaton, Kevin Daly of Los Angeles, Tim Hays of Michigan and a niece, Sarah Daly of Alexandria, VA and a great niece, Maeve and great nephew, Jack.

Tim was a 1982 graduate of Elkhart Central High School.  He also dabbled in antiques and collectibles, was a devoted fisherman and an avid mushroom hunter who relished the “thrill of the hunt” this time of year.

Visitation for Tim will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024, from 9:00-10:30 am at the Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home.  A procession will then leave for a graveside prayer at St. Vincent Cemetery where Tim will be laid to rest.  Casual attire is requested in honor of Tim’s low-key lifestyle.
