John and Gwen,

Sorry to hear about your mother, belatedly heard about it. I went to The Diamondbacks spring training on Monday and met people from Elkhart who know you. Trust all is well with you.

We are still in Mesa. Take care.

My deepest condolences to Margueritte's family. She was very good friends with our grandmother, Catherine Arnold. I remember them vacationing out in Arizona when I was younger, and they often went to Florida together as well. Since my grandmother's passing so many years ago we'd had the privilege of visiting with Margueritte now and again, and she always remembered who we were. She was a sweet, kind, and spunky woman; she will be missed by all!

I was unable to attend the funeral mass for Margarite but she will be in my prayers.
I visited her weekly to give her communion and so enjoyed chatting with her. She was an amazing lady.
My sympathy to you all.

Where to start? She was part of our family for almost 50 years and will be sorely missed by us all. We spent many an evening drinking a Heiniken after dinner discussing the worlds problems and glories. She loved her family, her country (especially when it was in Democratic hands) and God with gentle fierceness and grace. I regret that my granddaughters will never get to know her and benefit from her wonderful friendship and wisdom. I'm truly sorry she won't be here for election night this year but I know, without doubt, she will be watching the election night results from above with that Heineken in one hand and perhaps her rosary in the other, praying (a bit closer to the source this timed) for her beloved Democratic Party. Go with God Mrs. Gildea, we love you.

John, Gwen and family. We are so sorry we cannot pay our respects with a visitation for your mother., as we are both fighting illnesses. We have been so blessed to know Mrs. Gilded. I want to offer my sympathy at Mrs. Gildea's passing. I met her when I worked for Dr. Campagnoli, and we became friends. I used to visit her when she was at home, and then visited her at East Lake, and Greenleaf. She was such a remarkable person, and I was blessed to have known her! I was out to see her about a month ago, and she knew me right away! Again, my deepest sympathy at her passing.

Leaving Margueritte, was the most difficult part of my move to Nashville. Going to see her was always the first thing on my agenda, when I returned home for a visit. There are no words to convey my love for this woman. I am so grateful that I got to know her, and so thrilled to call her my friend. We did lots of laughing together and it was always healing for both of us. I also know how much you all loved her, and it is easy to say "Well, she lived a nice long life" but no one ever wants to say 'goodbye'--yet, that time comes to all. Love to all of you, as you deal with the sadness that now mellows your heart....one of the first things that drew us close together, was the love she had for my brother (her favorite policeman) Roger Kendall.

Dear Charlene,

My mother so enjoyed the love and laughter she shared with you. It was always a happy, fun occasion when you were together...and I thank you for all the times you 'delivered' her to a meeting point so she could spend time with us in Lake Bluff. Your kindness will be remembered.
Thank you again for your friendship ! Kathe.

To The Family,

I sorry to hear of your mother's passing. My mother Rose Otterbridge-Warr worked for your parents cleaning their home many years ago. She always spoke highly of your parents.
May GOD Bless the family in this time if sadness or happiness. She lived longer than many of us will. GOD Bless!

Margueritte was such a joy to be around -- always chipper and looked at life with fun.

I'm sure she will be missed.
