Dear Marilyn, Lori and Susan -

I was so very sorry to hear of Bob's passing. He was such a lovely guy. After the summer he and Ivan put the addition onto our house, I had him for math for the first time. And he teased me unmercifully, causing me to blush terribly each time! I secretly loved the attention, though. My deepest sympathy.

Marilyn and family. So sorry to hear of your loss as we were sharing our own on Friday. Bob was a good guy, quiet but positive. Many were touched by his guidance and example.

Tom has fond memories of his early teaching years and the friendship with Bob and Ivan, doing construction projects around Elkhart and your home. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Marilyn - a little piece of my heart broke when I heard of Bob's passing. He was such an important part of our teenage (and early 20's) years that it was impossible for Marv and I to remember old times without his name coming up. I know how difficult these days will be for you, Lori and Susan, but I know you are strong and with God's help will be okay. And you will be okay. Life will never be the same, but it will be okay. As for the "Four Guys in Bow Ties" bet they sound really good now that they have their bass singer with them. Love you and keep in touch.

Marilyn and family, we are out of town and unable to attend the visitation. I have the fondest memories of math classes at North Side. I am honored to have continued our friendship over the years. He was a wonderful man. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I'm so gonna miss you Uncle Bob! Even though we didn't get to see you very often, the times we did get together were very special to me. I'll always remember the fun I had as a child staying with you and Marilyn and hanging out with all the cousins. Please tell Mom and Grandma and Uncle Ivan "Hi" for me and that I miss them.

Aunt Marilyn, Lori and Susan...I'm so sorry he had to go so suddenly, but please take some comfort in knowing that he's having a wonderful time at the Ronk reunion up above. XXOO
