My deepest sympathy to the family and loved ones of Tom. He and I enjoyed many events for the Western Golf Association. We also shared the fact that we were at one time members of Melrose, a now defunct golf resort on Daufuskie Island, South Carolina.

To the entire Borger family, my condolences for your loss. I always enjoyed my interactions with Tom and was fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with him on numerous projects during my time in Elkhart. He truly transformed the aesthetics of Elkhart and most importantly, treated everyone with dignity and respect.

I worked for Tom at Borger Pletcher Dev in the 1980s. He was a great boss, so thoughtful and considerate. I remember when my car was in the shop that Tom told me I could borrow either his Jeep Limited Edition or his Mercedes. So kind a thoughtful. I also remember picking up the kids occasionally from school. I have a lot of fond memories working for Tom. I am so sorry for your loss. He will be truely missed by many.

Dear Liz, Dorothy, Sara, Tom, and Brian and families,
I loved the many morning greetings Tom and I exchanged over the years when I showed up to walk with Liz...who sometimes needed Tom's gentle touch and a bedside cup of coffee to get up and get going. I will always cherish that Tom, feet up on the ottoman in the comfy chair in the corner of the office, reading the Elkhart Truth and the South Bend Tribune at 6:00 a.m.
Heartfelt sorrow to you all for the loss, and prayers of comfort and strength. Love, Beth
